Ferndale Chamber of Commerce
As the core organization of Ferndale's business community, the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce strives to promote tourism and nurture the economic development of local businesses as well as to maintain and enhance our unique quality of life through preservation and promotion of our historic community in beautiful Humboldt County and the Eel River Valley.
Membership benefits include our chamber website, print, radio & TV advertising, social media campaigns, and billboards, among others.
The Chamber meets on the first Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Victorian Inn Conference Room on Francis Street (with the exception of holidays and the duration of the Humboldt County Fair). The Board of Directors meets every second Monday.
Join the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce
Join the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce, a vibrant network of local businesses and community stakeholders dedicated to fostering success. Your membership provides an avenue to enhance value, visibility, and credibility. It's an opportunity to share insights, stay abreast with market trends, exchange innovative ideas, uphold traditions, and forge a stronger connection with the Ferndale community. Chamber membership is a proven route to being an integral part of the community.
The Ferndale Chamber of Commerce offers two types of memberships: Partner and Stakeholder. The Partner Membership is for businesses, non-profit organizations, churches, and various community and civic groups. On the other hand, the Stakeholder Membership is for individuals and households. This membership type is designed for community supporters who have a profound interest in the well-being of our unique village.
Great news! The annual membership fee has dipped a bit from last year. But, as you might expect, our chamber expenses are on the rise. Members can lend a hand by contributing in areas like marketing, culture/community/events, and/or beautification. While marketing and advertising remains the largest expense, each area is crucial.
The Ferndale Chamber, a dedicated volunteer organization since 1905, tirelessly works towards bolstering cultural and economic growth for all. By joining today, you can help continue this legacy for every Ferndale area business and citizen.
Joining or renewing your membership has been simplified. With just a few clicks, you can become a member online, or choose to download the membership form and mail it in.
Your annual membership fee can be conveniently paid online via PayPal (@visitferndaleca) or via check. The fee for a Partner Member is $100, whereas the Stakeholder Member fees vary between $50 and $75. And directed contributions help the chamber serve businesses, organizations, residents and visitors.
