Looking for a true Humboldt adventure that takes just one morning? Join art workshop leader and local artist Margaret Kellermann on one or more monthly Humboldt-centric Art Hike Adventure Tours through Ferndale Music Company. Focusing on using the senses, Kellermann offers sketching techniques at several stops along the way. Each hike takes up to three hours on an easy to moderate trail. All levels of artists, age 10 and up. Travelers and locals welcome. Bring sketchbook and your favorite pen/pencil, snacks and water, and dress for any weather. Limited to 12 art hikers, for quiet, meditative fun. $40 for hike; art supplies may be purchased for $20, to be distributed at the hike.
