Since 1978, the Tour of the Unknown Coast has been called one of California’s toughest century rides, and among the most beautiful routes anywhere. Starting in the historic town of Ferndale, the course passes through towering redwoods, over coastal mountains and along the rim of the Pacific Ocean.

Those who favor a less strenuous adventure will enjoy the Avenue of the Giants 100K ride. This route offers a tour through the farmland in the Eel River delta, a glimpse into the history of the timber industry in the area, and a taste of the redwoods that this area is famous for.

And for those of you with small children just getting started on two wheels, we’re very pleased to announce that Freshwater 4-H Club will present the Family Ride this year.
