Heads up, travelers! Caltrans has announced a temporary, 40-hour closure of Fernbridge scheduled from 8pm on Friday, February 23, 2024, to noon on Sunday, February 25 to conduct maintenance, weather permitting.
Visitors to Ferndale are recommended to use Blue Slide Road as their alternate route. Exit Highway 101 at Rio Dell and follow Blue Slide Road to Grizzly Bluff Road into Ferndale. Please observe posted speed limits on these roads as you pass through working farmland, be aware of potentially heavier-than-usual traffic, and enjoy an (even more) scenic drive into the Victorian Village.
